Although having a primary focus on Oak Dam East, I found the 2007 Davidson et al. paper referred to well worth a read for the small outlay required imo.
Peter's linkedIn post references perhaps the most interesting diagram from that paper but one of the main takeaways for me is that Oak Dam East was lacking the correct conditions for the formation of bornite and chalcocite-bornite zones which were formed at Olympic Dam.
BHP's holes at Oak Dam West plus CHK's holes at HWDD04 and the original Western mining hole at HWD1 (at Horse Well) all show that the Western area of Oak Dam certainly has the correct conditions for such zones.
