I guess the start point is that rightly or wrongly the NTEPA see see gaps in the draft and supplement. They have asked some 10 questions. They actually could have altered their report by recommendations that addresses any concerns that weren't 100% resolved. I mean the draft and supplement are required to provide back ups, emergency and contingency options so the NTEPA could easily include a recommendation like "if strip mining plan causes identified damage to this specified weed then we expect a contingency protection plan to be implemented and TNG must monitor this aspect daily"

Personally I think the questions are a load of crap and there purpose is to appease certain elements within the community. If however the questions are valid then GHD should be able to answere them promptly from there own knowledge data base and expertise.

I am however permitted to take a shot at GHD cos they know wats riding on this and they claim to be experts who've done it before.
