It was about this time last year that the company said they were putting the lithium project on ice and acquired their first gold project. Since then they've acquired two more. The reason given for putting the Big Sandy lithium project on the back burner was the depressed lithium price and the surging gold price at the time.
Big Sandy is Bureau of Land Management (Federal government) ground and has all the permits and environmental studies done and dusted. In other words, it's ready to drill if they want to refocus back to lithium. But really, they have $3.5 million in the kitty, which is enough to drill more than one project at the same time.
The other advantage of Big Sandy is that it is in Arizona and is not shut down due to winter snow and no access like the gold projects are. There will be no resumption at Lone Pine until mid April due to no winter access. DYOR.
