Just wondering what peoples predictions are for what the dividend will be this Thursday when it is announced in the half yearly results?
Commsec estimates $1.7 billion NPAT. We have 889,252,161 shares on issue. So that equates to $1.91 NPAT per share which is HUGE! I am predicting we will get a $1 dividend per share (which will be made up of a normal dividend and a special dividend) and they will use the rest of 0.91 cents per share left over to fund the rest of the buyback and other capex projects. Interested to here other peoples thoughts! I for one can't wait for Thursday it will be like Christmas day IMO!
