I am not buying this share to get a dividend. If the company is making a profit the share price will move up regardless.
with regards to the hybrids- again I think it is ppx which decides the final outcome. If the hybrid holders don't agree to ppx terms then it will just drag on. Why would ppx favour the hybrids over it's own shares?
