SDE - I've had a few 100% wipeouts!

With companies in trouble, it could also be a case of "If they're talking, they're lying to you; if they're quiet, they're stealing from you."

With the former, the thing to really watch out for is not the lying-by-commission, but the lying-by-omission i.e. we're not being given the full story.

Given that Moelis have recently been invited into the fray, one wouldn't expect PaperlinX to be releasing too much just yet. I wouldn't be at all surprised if one option being considered to maximise ordinary shareholder value is the "stealing" of value away from hybrids through a sub-par offer as already discussed on this forum.
