Anyone who thinks petrol/diesel power is doomed hasn't been watching Le Mans.
These hybrids come out of a corner and BLAST past conventional cars in seconds. By the time the race is over they will have done 6,000 miles @ 250 MPH. Tesla, eat your heart out. lol
Pretty soon non-hybrid cars will be as quaint as pushrod engines were a few years ago.
