IMO as Government collects less fuel excise+GST . it
will increase the price of fuel by increasing the excise
with an exemption for HD trucks, Farm machinery etc.
This together with setting Rego to CO2 Emissions will
be the combined big stick towards 2050 net Zero.
That said, EVs will likely be taxed per klm to pay for roads/transport infrastructure .
