Quite obviously once they woke up to the fact that they had been coned by the green w#nkers, they had to switch back to a product which they new that even with their lack of ability to run a successful business had some chance of keeping them afloat.

Obviously, you really mean that they switched back to a product which was economical to buy, reliable and cheap to run.
