That's about 4 times the average mileage done by car owners.
And the comparator vehicle is an "old landcruiser", whose fuel consumption would be double that of an EV-sixed sedan, such as a Toyota Rave 4, for example.
[When they need to resort to that sort of extreme example, which is so far away from being representative of the average situation, then you know it's getting desperate for them.]
