I guess when it comes to science, there has always been sceptics
and IMO its nothing different with the Greenhouse effect/climate change.

Unfortunately these sceptics have likely bobbed out of high school before
they had an opportunity to get into physics and chemistry and , again
unfortunately, social media has given them a voice with the Norman
    Mailer observation:
    -First there is fiction
-Then its published and becomes 'factoid"
-And then it is incorporated into popular culture and regarded as fact.

And so it is with climate change.

    The science is there.
The accumulation of CO2, methane etc has been happening
since the start of the industrial revolution and it has accelerated
since WW2 and that is a verifiable fact
Industrialised counties have admitted that and came to agreements
    culminating with the Paris COP21.

Now we have mugs putting up stupid arguments that Climate Change
is not happening (600 years ago such skeptics didn't believe that
the earth was round and that it orbited the Sun) .

The fact that climate change is happening means that there will be
winners and losers (mostly losers) ; some more than others.

for example ag regions in Northern Europe and Canada will likely
have warmer/longer growing seasons while tropical areas will
likely be hotter and more arid. Ocean levels will rise due to polar
ice cap melting inundating low lying coastal areas/islands.

This is why western countries are intent at net zero emissions
by 2050 (China by 2060) and for contrarians to argue/behave otherwise
is futile IMO. The die is set ...period!

    While BEVs, PHEVs and Hybrids won't solve the emissions problems;
at least they will contribute to minimising CO2 etc.
