Go easy on the billions... I've told you a billion times not to exagerate. Maldives have spent millions building seawalls and dreging to build up the low lying islands. It will always be a work in progress, because they are not waiting for the water to lap around their ankles before doing something. Tourists to certain areas are paying towards the Maldives bills.
The Maldives are NOT going to wait for the islands to go underwater. What progresive people they are unlike climate deniers.
