IMO the USA is dicing with danger when it purports to protect its auto industry from China while its Auto manufacturers rely heavily on Chinese components/materials.
Tesla is "backdooring" its import of Chinese components/materials by using its new Mexican factory as a conduit to the US market under NAFTA, Perhaps that's why Musk is getting into bed with Trump as a "prophylactic " should Trump want to go after "Chinah" if he's elected.
