and his RW leanings will have little or no impact
on their buying a car.

Henry Ford was a RW/anti-trade Union ideologue
but that didn't stop working class from buying Model Ts.

We all buy Chinese goods even though we may vehemently
oppose the CCP/Communism/lack of personal liberties.

Even America has had to stop Americans from buying BYD
and other Chinese EVs by bunging on 110% import duties!

Also we put petrol & diesel in our cars sourced from Saudi Arabia
& Vietnam!
