    Hi Pinto,
    Ironically , pretty sure the only electric freight trains in Australia are hauling coal in Queensland.
    Electric trains are pretty much confined to capital city , suburban passenger lines.
    Diesel electric pretty covers the rest.
    I would think an electric train across the Nullabor might be a big ask.
