The Chinese will fill the gap if allowed in Europe.
That said, Europe has done a partial US on Chinese
EV imports by bunging 37.5% import tariff on them
to protect European car makers. (US 110%)
If EU car makers cant compete with the Chinese
then how can EU manufacturers of EV charging
stations expected to compete with the Chinese
"EVBox, a prominent manufacturer and seller of charging stations"
They are a manufacturer of charging stations; not a Charging Stations
Operator.
IMO they could not compete with Chinese imports of Charging Stations
of which China is the world's largest.

Perhaps the EU will also bung 37.5% import tariff on
Chinese charging stations?
These tariffs by the west on Chinese EVs is reminiscent
of Pommy import tariffs on importrd cars in the 1950s/60s
but we all know the outcome of that!
