We will get a bit closer to Norway's figures , but keep in mind.
EV's in Norway are cheaper than ICE's to buy.
Tolls , licensing, parking all cheaper.
Electricity a bit cheaper as well.

In fact , come to think about it , there are not many countries quite as unsuitable for us to benchmark ourselves against.
Perfectly happy for non ICE cars to dominate eventually .
As long as we get the best bang for our bucks , carbon wise , overall in our economy.
We also should avoid the starving of widows and orphans , just to promote pure evs.
