My conclusion from it would be that if not for the subsidies and tax advantages , the hybrids win [ I am assuming 5% opportunity cost on the higher ev sticker price]. Now , as someone unable to take advantage of the tax subsidies , will they last forever?, plug in hybrids win , ordinary hybrids 2nd. That is apart from the fact that I do the Nullarbor every one or 2 years. 2nd car , smallest cheapest ev wins , I do about 15k a year in that. Talking about this just reminds me that in a country like Australia the right answer varies with the person and geography. Of course the culture warriors on both sides tend to disagree. The only other thing I might say is that I think people who still buy Teslas are Pedos. cheers
