Bear in mind that the petrol version of that had high R&M which were not covered by warranty. These 7-10 warranties have to be read carefully for their exclusions which are usually the expensive wear/tear/ durability of components such as brakes, steering, suspension etc.
IMO if you intend to buy a new EV you have to consider depreciation and MG with other Chinese brands are at the bottom of the barrel despite the "Mickey Mouse" 7-10 year powertrain warranties .
Conversely if long term warranty gave a low rate of depreciation, then MG would be up there with the rest in used car value....but its not!
