That’s about $3,500, extra, give or take, spread over a half decade, probably more.
Pretty much backs up my reasoning for sticking with full ICE, and not go the hybrid route. You simply won’t recoup the extra amount you outlay (up front) to buy a hybrid via fuel savings, unless you drive huge amounts of kms. The situation is worse if you buy your hybrid via a loan/finance.
