    which indicates that EV are much likely to burn than ICEs;
    particularly petrol ICEs

    This fire phobia is like the aircraft fires caused by Lithium batteries early in their development
    but of course today one does not hear of lithium battery fires on aircraft.

    Batteries have 2 weaknesses when it comes to fires:
    -over charging due to inadequate overcharge safety mechanism
    -quick charging with inadequate cooling system

    Modern EVs have both.
