Well I certainly don't remember any derogative talk re mobile phones as they were adopted very quickly, among the fastest adaptions in the world
I know that I bought one very early and the second day I had it I obtained a contract that paid for the phone for the next two years
AS for EVs after 100 plus years they still do not have a viable fuel supply ( electrical storage unit) so they will remain a toy and plaything until that problem is solved
All EV manufacturers are have trouble with sales, buyers are having trouble with chargers, service, insurance, resale value and so it goes on
Are there any troubles with modern IC vehicles NO NO NO NO and they are a lot cheaper
