''You said that we are creative/inventive....so it should be a piece of
piss to solve our water problem....eh?''
had 200 years ------- not even close yet.
When I first read your recent posts, I thought that you might have been thinking of Oz as a major manufacturing economy - not just melting a few alum bits for parts.
That of course requires a huge amount of water and water near population sources - not a doable thing in a land like Oz as it's setup.
However, even with your limited manufacturing idea of value adding to our dirt - which isn't ours now once it's out of the ground -
again, the problems are monstrous and again - I believe that the risks of being left in the lurch as materials technology races on relentlessly
in the end - you want to get a huge investment from somewhere, to build a huge value adding industry or industries to our quarry business which is foreign owned in extremely remote areas to service markets who we know that we have huge risks with if political friction develops, and it will be staffed by apparently already trained and educated Ozzies who are magically sitting about doing nothing waiting for the said opportunity - to begin a dirty business on Ozzie soil
anyone see any problems there?
