Nobody has yet done the sums on the savings in import petrol
and diesel of Hybrids & EVs vs the extra cost to import them vis-a-vis
equivalent ICEs.

We now import 90% of our petroleum needs so the sum per BEV vs
its equivalent ICE would be

Amount of petroleum saved(at import cost) over the life of the BEV minus
the extra import cost of the BEV vs its equivalent ICE.

Then multiply that by the # of BEVs on the Aus roads.

The Hybrid sum would be simply part of the BEV sum.

So lets have it.

Many on these threads purport to be smart and have no
compunction in rubbishing others who have a go.

So lets hear from the smarts....eh???
