That being the case - there should be NO tax subsidies for the Likes of Telsa's.
There is NO need for the lard arse , resource sucking, taxation sucking pariah these cars are & they claim to be saving the planet.
The average & below average drivers dont need that & the Australian tax payer is subsidising a person that would buy a Telsa because they can...its just a bonus that the tax payer props it up & take food off the table
The Ev's should be small/ light & 100 k range....& used for city driving.
Lard arse tax - over 1500 kgs for evs would be a step inthe right direction.
