Its a Volvo owned by Geely.
On the fall of the USSR in 1991, the US stopped
"favouring" Swedish corporations such as Volvo & Saab.
This resulted in Volvo re-organising its global business
into Trucks and Construction Machinery and ditching
Volvo Cars .
Later on Geely picked up Volvo Cars for a song and of course
GM shut down Saab.
