My golf does 4.4l/ 100k & my Touareg 6.2l/ 100k.
My Xu1 did 30l/100k (but I never drove it muck under 100 km/h). Lucky it had a 90l tank as standard.
Re do your calcs.
But even on your erroneous (biased) calculations - price difference of $20k to 30k will take what 10 to 15 years.
But if you are only an average (or below average drive ) as ev (ils) like to claim, at less than 15,000k per annum, never cover the privce difference before you dispose of the Ev(il) & wont recoup the C02 to produce it either...making the planet worse.
