Dont worry about the quality of our fuels.
The octane rating is all about anti-knock ...not quality
and as such the lower octane ratings have less anti-knock chemicals
and are arguably better for the environment including E10.
By the way all non E grades have the same energy levels
Higher compression ratio engines are prone to pre-ignition knock
hence the need for the "higher grades " anti-knock petrol
