    There are 2 reasons for this:
    (a) EV market penetration and manufacture is well on its way in Germany so it doesn't need further Gov Stimulus
    (b) That Germany is strapped for cash due to supporting the Ukraine and the recessionary impact of this war on the German economy (affordability)

    No doubt our Government too will crank up the taxation of EVs once the reach a critical mass like that of Germany.
    present the EV tax concessions are almostly exclusively enjoyed by the Middle Class...not the workers who simply can't
    afford EVs and opt for 2nd hand ICEs
