So if your system produces 2.7 per hour , I presume about a 5 system. 2 hours will get you 30k A 10kw , 2 hours will get you 60km. So unless you are a 9 to 5 wage slave with a long commute , the ev isn't that bad. If you are , or if the car isn't at home much , including weekends , you are right , stick with your ice for convenience. If that is not the case , then the EV with a 10kw solar , becomes sensible.
On EV fires , I am going to be fascinated to see how long that furphy continues. Remind me again how many EV fires vs ICE fires there are?
