Its interesting that the Kiwis have a lower rate of fuel guzzling than
us. perhaps its because NZ allows a lot more fuel efficient/affordable
Japanese imports to replace the older fuel guzzlers?
The Multinationals auto manufacturers shut shop in Aus over 6
ago yet our Government protects their profits here by severly
restricting the makes/models that can be imported used into Aus.

Solution:
Amend our MVSA 89-2002 to match NZ standards
At present we only allow 25 year+ imports and a
select few hoon Sports cars, orphan Hybrids, Wellcabs
(vehicles for the disabled) and campers to keep the Grey
Brigade quiet!.
