In your impediments you did not include the damaged political system which hamstrings every facet of business, big and small or the inability of that system to attract people of skill and ability to manage the operations of the country
Over the years I have always marveled at the gross stupidity of the actions that our leaders take, when anyone can see they are stupid decisions and wrong.
But I have come to the conclusions that they, our politicians are actually chosen for their stupidity so as to act as puppets for those who truly lead them
Therefore to be "great again" we have to first get great leaders and none in the last 40 years come close
Regardless of what is done to change the country we will continue down the gurgler drain to the final Chinese ? takeover unless we fix the system at the top first
