OK I see my error that is revenue, Australia is the largest part of their operations. But consider this:

Rio Tinto‘s (OTCPK: RTNTF) board has approved Guinea’s Simandou iron ore project, marking it the world’s largest mining endeavor. CEO Jakob Stausholm confirmed the news about the $20 billion project.

Do you honestly believe that a 100% Australian miner could do this? Of course not, but Australians will own 7% of that mine
