Funny you should use the oven analogy.
Most houses have ovens and considering that most people eat around the same times, we do see a lot of “pressure” on the grid at times.
You just might have heard about it “They call it Peak Demand “.
Maybe you’re heard those advertisements/community service announcements about easing up on electricity use, setting your aircon at 24, slightly higher during summer and slightly lower in winter or even better!
Don’t turn them on between 4-8pm ?
Don’t forget, plenty of people use natural gas or LPG.
Although a few of the State governments are trying to reduce/cancel the gas oven option and mandating electric stoves/ovens in New Builds.
You can keep spouting the political Spin of your preferred political party and I’ll stick with reality.
