Looks as though one country may stop milking taxpayers with the 'clean and green' EV's. Markets should decide - not mandates. Doubt 'the land of plenty' politicians will follow - they should, it would help with cost of living expenses by putting money back in other important things lacking funding.
It seems WA has power outages - hard to keep cool and keep frozen goods frozen let alone charge any EV's:
Enduring the heat up to a week with no power - so much for energy reliability and with more areas subject to such vulnerabilities. And yes, it affects fuel pumps too but most ICE vehicles have a range almost twice that of an EV prior to needing refuelling and ICE vehicles don't need phones with apps.
Should spend more money on more coal base load and alternate distribution feeders. AIMO
