Dave, here is an interesting exercise: Open flightradar24.com and see the airline traffic. You will notice how the great majority is in the N hemisphere because that's where people and the money are. You will also see Australia is in the more sparsely populated/poorer S hemisphere.
Please stop conflating the two hemispheres, what's good for China bears no relation to what's good for us.
