it's much easier for some than others for Oz it's a lot lot easier I know Europe uses passive geothermal for househeating and there are places in Japan that are amazing in near surface geothermal (Bepu, should anyone wish to visit ) and the biofuels and waste to energy etc But solar and wind are the cheapest and most abundant form , many places just don't have the strength of sun or wind that are ideal as we do here full credxit to Europe though for the effort they have made coal is close to dead ....no-one outside of China wants to invest in coal gas has limmited lifespan oil , as I said before is far too valuable a mix of chemicals in finite supply to waste burning

Australia has shown itself inept at exploiting opportunities right in front of it due to narrow short term thinking. I see the hydrogen opportunity being no different.
