And you don’t appreciate the H2 is bling for what is in reality simply a tiny bit of bling on a rebuildable energy reality.
Put simply
Rebuildable electricity generation has an IRR of 20%+ on a grid cost competitive basis whereas hydrogen has an IRR <2% and is not economic at current energy equivalent natural gas prices.Then there are the invisible flames and H2 difficulties to consider. The stuff sucks!!
The gobi project should be renamed to the gobi sustainable energy precinct - and spare the future embarrassment.
