Difficult to compare prolific oil territory play with a girly gas play with cost of production for Cuba oil being $10 per barrel or $1.8 per GJ (1BOE = 5.4GJ) versus $7.0 per GJ estimated for Gobi CSG. I haven’t been all that excited by EXR since discovery, it’s my first CSG experience & learning all the time. I never quite imagined exploration and appraisal would be as slow and given the realistic 8-9 month drilling window I’d have liked to have seen a lot more happening and during 21 and 22. I’m still very keen on EXR and management overall except it seems Neil is very long and has big ambitions in the Gobi and perhaps not wanting to get in and out too fast. Problem is the money will run out and you don’t want to be raising capital on a tanked SP. TMK on the other hand seem to be more aligned with my thinking.
