There is an Australian company that is capturing waste methane from an abbatoir which is then used to fuel a generator that provides most of the energy requirements for the plant.
Something similar could be done to capture the methane for use as feedstock in the Hazer Process.
The same methodology could be used at waste and sewage treatment plants.
