HZR tweeted this article on the need for low emissions hydrogen yesterday, apart from the general interest, it has a good section on costing of the currently available methods. (below)

It is reassuring to see these numbers broadly align with the Adelaide university study (below), giving some value as a cross check.
What really stands out is the pyrolysis base case (Hazer) pricing @ ~ $1.5/kg now leads the pack.
Bear in mind this is base case using mined methane as the input gas, using bio gas methane will be much more favorable on the CO2 credits side.
Hazer is one CDP away from entering this race, on current form it will be a winner, I am sure there are plenty watching it in training.
