Hycamite is making a mix of carbon nanofibres (CNF) and carbon nanotubes (CNT).
Hazer is focusing on carbon nano onions (CNO), carbon microshells (CMS) and CNT. (CNF has appeared in their patent documents before, they can also make graphene sheets.)CNO is certainly graphitic (not sure about CMS), due to Hazer's Fe catalyst I believe. Lots of potential others don't have.
Presently, Hycamite's product data sheets state they produce less than one tonne of carbon product per year.
It would mean they're looking to scale up by 6,000 times in mid-2024. That's incredibly ambitious - but is it realistic except in stages?
They're a private company after all, which gives them a licence to claim more or less what they like, unlike Hazer.
