hydrogen cars will forever be a non starter
hydrogen will EVENTUALLY be used to centrally to generate electricity (as opposed to natural gas and coal) for distribution to network by way of transmission lines and hv/lv network grids
all end users are going through ‘electrification’, decommissioning all gas supply infrastructure
wind and solar as a central energy is too inefficient and inconsistent however it will be used to energise isolated demand where most appropriate
the hold points to Hydrogen is production, storage and hydrogen transmission to central hydrogen to electric plants and then the electrical transmission lines to the network
20-30years away from hydrogen becoming mainstream
