I dont know that I will ever live to see a Nuclear power station ever get built in Australia.
I like them mostly, I think if managed correctly they are fine. Plenty of mechanisms and systems around them to run safely. But to expect a nuclear infant country like Australia to suddenly build and man a few of them, in some kind of world record timeframe, is absurd. The time to implement was 20 years ago.
If any politicians were actually serious about it, why haven't they been pushing while their own party held office for long periods of time? It's all voter scam to me. Wont happen but will divide and buy votes.
