    Thanks for that link, but it seems that we will need to wait until October for that Hydrogen Technology Expo. I hope Hazer are attending.

    There are many methane pyrolysis technologies being developed. Broadly they are grouped into...

    1. Catalytic pyrolysis: using carbon or metal catalysts as well as a number of different reactor types using temps from650-1300C
    2. Plasma pyrolysis:1300-2100C
    3. Microwave pyrolysis: 550-1100C
    4. Molten metal pyrolysis: 700-1200C
    5. molten salt pyrolysis: 700-1200C
    as well as combinations of the above, some of which also include pulse combustion pyrolysis and or shockwave pyrolysis.
    It is not just the raw temperature of the process that drives the efficiency, it also depends on the methods used.
    These questions will not be answered until commercial plants produce their production and efficiency numbers rather than predictions.
