Hydrogen energy & gas powered vehicles & batteries are "dumb & stupid" says Elon Musk calling them "Hydrogen fool sells that make no sense".
Anyone with any basic engineering or chemistry study would understand this.

Hydrogen gas is not found on Earth (0.001%) but mostly found in the Sun and Jupiter (95% of their mass) and how hospitable are those places for human life, NOT.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reiterated his skepticism about hydrogen’s role in the planned shift to a more sustainable future, describing it as “the most dumb thing I could possibly imagine for energy storage.” “No,” he replied. “I really can’t emphasize this enough — the number of times I’ve been asked about hydrogen, it might be … it’s well over 100 times, maybe 200 times,” he said. “It’s important to understand that if you want a means of energy storage, hydrogen is a bad choice.” Expanding on his argument, Musk went on to state that “gigantic tanks” would be required to hold hydrogen in liquid form. If it were to be stored in gaseous form, “even bigger” tanks would be needed, he said. In June 2020 he tweeted “fuel cells = fool sells,”  adding in July of that year: “Hydrogen fool sells make no sense.” Judging by his comments this week, he remains unconvinced about hydrogen.
“It does not naturally occur on Earth, so you either have to split water with electrolysis or crack hydrocarbons,” he told the Financial Times. “When you’re cracking hydrocarbons, you really haven’t solved the fossil fuel problem, and the efficiency of electrolysis is poor.”

Musk uses propane to power the SpaceX rockets not H gas which NASA doesn't even use any more due to its explosiveness.

"Even small amounts of liquid hydrogen can be explosive when combined with air, and only a small amount of energy is required to ignite it. Both its explosiveness and the extremely low temperatures involved make handling it safely a challenge"

H is very dangerous due to high combustibility, massive expense/weight. It must be kept in freezing high pressure liquid form at -230 degrees to reduce size converted to liquid, think of a massive frozen barbeque canister on steroids.

Liquid hydrogen tanks are heavier than diesel in liquid form & have more volume more than LNG & are highly combustible producing an explosive reaction with air (unlike liquid nitrogen) & a lot more expensive to produce & store than fossil fuel or even liquid nitrogen or nuclear
    see wikipedia here-

"Although liquid hydrogen gives a high Isp, its low density is a disadvantage: hydrogen occupies about 7x more volume per kilogram than dense fuels such as kerosene. The fuel tankage, plumbing, and pump must be correspondingly larger. This increases the vehicle's dry mass, reducing performance. Liquid hydrogen is also relatively expensive to produce and store, and causes difficulties with design, manufacture, and operation of the vehicle. However, liquid hydrogen is extremely well suited to upper stage use where Isp is at a premium and thrust to weight ratios are less relevant"

The Space Shuttle external tank (ET) was the component of the Space Shuttle launch vehicle that contained the liquid hydrogen fuel and ... of the Shuttle flights, and was last used on the ill-fated Space Shuttle Columbia disaster (STS-107).

A catalytic converter is needed to convert H from air but can be done but very slow, way slower than EV recharging. The converter requires filters and platinum/nickel/heavy metals to incite a chemical reaction to refine the H component in air.

The Space Shuttle & Hindenburg disasters were caused by hydrogen explosion not the break up of the shuttle or the pressure itself but by fire & explosive pressure. Thats why its called a hydrogen bomb, the power is many multiples of its pressure and mass.

In addition to the famous Hindenburg disaster, dozens of hydrogen airships were destroyed by fire, and no American airship has been inflated with hydrogen ... so why use it for cars or energy?

Any takers on going for a shop run on the Hindenburg or space shuttle with a live bomb on board or working next to a H energy bomb?

This is why I started this thread as H energy is a woke rich elite unworkable furphy imho
