have just seen an article on "Topgear" on ABC re hydrogen cars, and how they only have one moving part in the angine , therefore less wear and tear, also Hydrogen costs about the same amount as Petrol in California per gallon, but with one important difference.

Petrol (Oil) will eventually run out, hydrogen is the most abundant element in the Universe and will never run out.

It is difficult to extract (about the same as drilling in the deep ocean.

If there is to be a move to cleaner cars, it has to be Hydrogen powered cars, seems like we may be sitting on a gold mine. It will just take time, but with Obama's new TARP financial package concentrating on greener products , we may be on the way to making a few dollars.
