I do not think Ammonia is "safe or easy". To quote terrorism warnings on a public website in New York: "Ammonia is corrosive. The severity of health effects depends on the route of exposure, the dose and the duration of exposure. Exposure to high concentrations of ammonia in air causes immediate burning of the eyes, nose, throat and respiratory tract and can result in blindness, lung damage or death. Inhalation of lower concentrations can cause coughing, and nose and throat irritation."

I think that this would require such a large change in transport and storage and refuelling methods (ie cost so much) that hydrogen is not a real threat to lithium batteries for the forseeable future. Any reaction of the PLS share price - and I am sure there will be one - to this admittedly good news from the CSIRO is a knee jerk reaction and not based on realism.
