Is there a safe method or hydrogen storage? Some years ago I was a holder in a NASDAQ listed stock.The code was ENER and I think it was called Energy Renewable Systems or similar. It had a remarkable number of claims and was controlled by one Stan Osvinsky and his wife & son. The father would not let go of the reins and was into his nineties. I sold them during the dot com boom for a tidy profit. The company seems to have disappeared without trace. Stan claimed to have developed a method of storing hydrogen in a solid state. It was a solid hydrogen disk. I don't know what happened to all of this as he claimed to have a prototype for a safe hydrogen fuel cell car. As hydrogen is very unstable, driving a hydrogen fuel cell motor vehicle would be akin to driving around with a hydrogen bomb under the seat! I was also a stockholder in Ballard Fuel Cells which was developing electricity generators for siting in remote areas. I have lost track of this one also. Has anyone learned of either companies fate?
