The drug itself is FDA approved but its use as a cure for covid has not been proven or accepted in medical circles and as Dr Fauci said the evidence is only anecdotal at this stage
Just because Trump says something works doesn't mean it does.
I hope that it is a cure, that would be amazing if true. But it is way way too early to suggest it is a cure.
Trump cutting off Dr Fauci before the Dr could answer a direct question on the drug is evidence enough that Trump is currently acting like a Disallowed salesman.
